The Shift Is Here
The industry moved. Has the talent pipeline kept up?
The film and television industry is undergoing one of the most significant pipeline shifts in its history. LED volumes, real-time rendering, and the Virtual Art Department have fundamentally changed how productions are made — and the demand for artists who understand this world is outpacing supply.
The good news? Whether you're an experienced 3D professional looking to pivot, or someone just beginning to explore creative technology as a career — you're closer to this world than you think.
Webinar Content
What you will walk away with.
01
How the film pipeline actually changed
From pre-digital collaboration to the CGI era's "fix it in post" mindset — and why real-time technology is reversing that trend.
02
What the VAD is and where you fit
The Virtual Art Department is the entry point for 3D professionals. Understand its structure, roles, and what's expected before day one on set.
03
How your ArchViz skills transfer directly
Materials, lighting intent, spatial composition, environment building — the overlap between ArchViz and VP worldbuilding is far greater than most artists realize.
04
The real technical demands of the LED stage
Parallax, frustums, PBR workflows, nDisplay, and real-time performance constraints — the things that catch transitioning artists off guard.
05
The mindset shift that actually matters
In VP, beautiful is not enough — assets must perform under live conditions. Understanding this distinction is what separates prepared artists from those who struggle on stage.
06
A clear map of roles and entry points
Concrete career pathways for artists at every level — from beginners choosing their first specialization to experienced professionals redirecting their practice.
Who Should Attend
